Submit Your Suggestions for Viewpoint Team

Viewpoint Team is not capable of allowing Company admins to create/add roles and also customize the new role by stipulating access permissions. This negatively impacts our Company by taking up bandwidth to perform workarounds outside of Viewpoint Team in order to accommodate the systems shortcomings. An example of this is sharing of daily report: we cannot add a client to see daily reports because they would also gain access to information considered sensitive and internal to our Company (schedule, subcontracts, etc). Our work around include downloading those documents we can curate access for, set up a 3rd party sharing folder (ie Box), and download from Viewpoint Team and upload to the shared Box folder. This is a tremendous resource strain and introduces the opportunity for error, which further strains our resources should an error occur. If Viewpoint Team had the ability to create a role with customized access this exponential tedious administrative workload could be avoided allowing our teams to focus on their core expertise (Project Managers, Superintendents, etc). In addition, this necessary work around is being met with tremendous negative feedback from our clients who are used to Procore and are comparing the new system we just migrated to one of Viewpoint's competitors with what should be a baseline feature.
