When trades are on site, we need to know WHEN they arrived on site and when they left. Just tracking their hours isn't sufficient. We'd also like a separate Location field to be able to distinguish where the trades are doing the work so it can be reported on.
This data is crucial for our reports so needs to be integrated into Vista's Daily Logs.

Just having a Qty and Hours section on the Daily Log requires the users to manually keep track on their Trades on site on paper. They can only enter the Trade details once the trade leaves as they can't enter an estimate.
In Vista, we enter the Trade onto the log when they arrive and count the total onsite. Save the log. Then we continually update the log once Trades leave with their End Time and what they accomplished.
