We use the Types to decipher what we are looking for as it pertains to Submittals, RFIs, Issues etc. We also number based on type. It would be very helpful to the see TYPE of documetn we are looking for in the email.
For example, in Submittals we have "Shop Drawings", "Data Sheet" and "Samples", RFIs we have "Request for Information" and "Request for Quote." All of these are very different.
The emails just say RFI 2, Submittal 4, but would be great to see Shop Drawings 4, Request for Quote 2 added.
