We need to track additional project data such as Milestones, Key Risks and Issues, Safety forms etc but not just to fill out and print; We need this data to provide monthly progress reports. We want to avoid having all of these spreadsheets or word documents being used to manually track this.
If the data remains in Teams on these forms without the ability to be extracted and merged with Vista data/reports, it does not make sense from a business standpoint to use it.
If we create ud forms in Vista to track form data that's not available on Standard forms (ie custom) those tables are readily available for us to use with any reporting tool we need. This is what I assumed the new Forms module would be ie creating custom forms in a web format.
Suggestions are:
When creating forms in Team have that create an associated ud table/form in Vista and integrate that data so that it can be used.
OR
2. Give customers access to their corresponding SQL Tenant databases like we can with Vista and Vista Cloud. Charge a fee for it and customers will readily pay for it.

Analytics is a nice tool, but it does have limitations on what you can do with it. Access to SQL would allow us the flexibility to be able to use the Team data in many different ways.

If all the data in Team would just integrate to Vista then none of this would be needed. Forms would link to ud tables like it does with Field View, Drawings link to Drawing Logs, Daily Logs to Daily Logs etc.
If you did that, we are limitless to reporting vs relying on exporting manually, consolidating, etc.

Hi. We have two things planned that may help. We will be adding the ability to export to Excel the Forms Analysis grid data in Team Project Mgmt (the Forms Analysis feature is where you filter to a single template and it returns the form question responses/answers from all forms created from that template for the project). Also, we will make Form APIs available.
I am interested to know if this will meet your needs.
