There needs to be an ability to create Contact Groups based on Roles so you can add a Group to the Project rather than having to individually add everyone. Furthermore, being able to have a job template with Contacts already set up and then imported to a new job.

We currently have 140 + jobs we added to TEAM.  We potentially have 40 to 50 internal users (Contacts) that need to be added to each project.  We currently will use 3 Roles:  Project Manager (15 Contacts per job), Project Engineer (10 to 15 Contacts per job), Project Editor (10 Contacts per job).  Currently we have to go into each job and add every contact, modify the Role, and invite everyone individually.  This will have to be done 5,600 times based on an average of 40 Contacts per project.  To simplify this whole process now, and going forward for new projects it would make so much sense to be able to create Contact Groups and then add the entire Group(s) at once to the project so you don't have to individually add everyone.  It would make even more sense to have the ability to set up a job template that has everything you need and you can copy the template for the new job.  Currently, we have a job template with the folder structure in Documents.  This is the only thing we can import from another job to the new job.  Please help so we can create Contact Groups and/or a job template that contains the Contacts by Role or a Group so Contacts can be easily added to new projects.

Was there ever any resolution to this issue?

The ability to add a group of users or copy contacts from another project is a must. You should also have the ability to assign default roles to contacts to each user instead of having to select a role each time they are added to a new job. The setup process for new projects and individually adding users / roles is very unnecessary and is wasting a lot of time.

Any news on this?? This process of adding individual Contacts to each project is so tedious. It takes someone up to 30 minutes per job to add every individual Contact. Is anyone going to respond to this request and create the ability to have Contract Groups so we can add by Group? Are you considering this option?

We're now adding our supers and foremen to jobs, so now we're having to add 200-300 or more contacts per job instead of a few groups per job.

Anything on this? Will this be considered, implemented, etc.?
