We would like to be able create a new job and have standard folders and standard documents prefill in Documents like inspection forms, MSDS, QA/QC. Right now a single template set but multiple sets of templates to choose from would be nice.

Completely agree. Just trying to iterate rather than wait for the 'big' solution.
Hey Josh,
I think this would meet the need in the interim. Once security can be managed through a group customers will definitely want to be able to pre-define a template and spin off a new folder structure with security as easily as possible (directly in TEAM).

Tom/Aaron (or others), to get something quick to help with this, could we provide an excel import template like RFI/Submittals? Where Column A is the top level folders, B is next level, etc.
So something that looks like this to generate your structure?
We could evolve it to be something more elaborate, that includes security eventually. But until we really have custom or defined groups in Team, security will be hard to template. Currently it's all individual users, so you wouldn't want to copy users between every project template. Just groups like 'Lead Engineer', 'Architect', etc.
Come up again today during a Demo with $400M GC.
Security would be part of what would copy too...
Hey Josh,
It would be typical to have a standard template by division or project type. Most customers have a file structure framework set up in Windows Explorer and when a new job is created the file structure gets copied and becomes specific for that project. They want to replicate this type of feature in TEAM.
Thanks,

Aaron, do you have any examples of what they would use there? Is there one template they would use company wide, or would they have different templates across different divisions / project types?
Jacobsen Construction has the exact same request- they would need to be able to predefined a folder template(s) so that when a job starts they can easily create the file structure and it will be consistent between jobs.
