The TaxGroup, which is taken from the HQ Company Setup, is being assigned incorrectly to the project when the project is created from TEAM.
For example, in our demo environment, we have TaxGroup 1 defined for HQ Company 1. All the projects created from TEAM have assigned the TaxGroup as 8.
This prevents the project from being setup completely, not just the required project setup fields.
Thanks, Matt Barry

I created bug #16517 https://viewpointvso.visualstudio.com/MyViewpoint/_workitems/edit/16517. We will get it fixed.
This TEAM issue should have a higher priority if my logic is correct because an end user cannot fix it in Vista w/o a SQL Script. When TEAM adds a project in Vista JCJMPM Tax Code is being set to 8, not 1 which it should retrieve from HQCO. There is nowhere on the Vista user interface to change this if I am correct. The Vista Tax Code lookup is blank in Vista on TEAM projects because the Tax Group is 8 which does not exist in Vista.
Yes, this should be considered an issue. TEAM should look at HQCO.
When you setup a job in Vista the tax group defaults to HQ Company Setup>Group Assignment. When you setup the job in TEAM it is assigning a Tax Group = 8 which does not exist in Vista. TEAM should look at HQCO and use the same tax group setup there based on the company that the project is added to. On the attached I added a job in Vista and it defaulted to tax group = 1, all others are from TEAM which defaulted to taxgroup = 8.
Assuming that this is a required field and we have chosen a way to default it.
How would you expect this to work - what might we do to solve this w/o having the user in team have to choose the Tax group. This user would not know.
