As we are implementing Team, we've come up with some standard Project Settings that we change for every new project. It would be nice if we had a template or default project we could copy from to put those settings in place with out changing each one.
For example, autonumbering should be on for RFI's, default document type should be X for RFI's, etc. We have to hit each one even though they are the same for every project. Thanks!

Another example is we have certain AA's that we want to make contacts on all of our projects. Having them in a template for new projects would be helpful.
We also start from scratch on Spec Sections for each project. We often use the same ones as starting points so we could put them in a template.
A 'Project Copy' or 'Clone' so we could use a standard project to copy when we create new ones would solve this too. Thanks!

We've got our first pass at Copy Project released so I'm going to mark this one Shipped, but we're not done with it yet. It currently does not copy project contacts but we have that one this list for our next revision of the feature. Spec sections is a good idea too, but there is much improvement needed in the way Team handles spec sections - we'll likely include it in the copy feature after we finish the enhancement work.
It would be helpful to have the same options as the PM Project Copy with options on whether to copy only settings or additional records - contacts, submittal register, etc. We have situations similar - repeat work with the same groups - but also this would be good just in general to skip the set up on every project built in Team.
