Now that pdfs can be open in Bluebeam and easily saved back into TEAM, we need this with MS Office. If we edit a word document, we have to first download it, edit, save it, then drag and drop which requires physical hard drive space. We need to remove physical local space when working in the cloud. Dropbox allows you to save a location in Office which an be used to Save As so need this in TEAM.

We shipped this on Wednesday.
4.5 years later and Planning to Implement still has not been implemented.
This would be great!
We have been waiting for this feature to be release for what feels like a year!
This would be incredibly helpful!
How are you directly saving BlueBeam documents back into Team?
It's been 2 years and we still cannot edit MS documents?! This is sad.
Even better would be to implement an option like SharePoint where we set it to "Use Client Application" as a setting on the project or folder. Some people would prefer that an Excel file be opened with their client Excel version versus Excel Online. If it opens online, there should be an option to "Edit in Excel" which opens the spreadsheet in their Desktop application.
Moving spreadsheets from our file server to TEAM is our biggest headache for our users as it's so much simpler to browse to the folder with File Explorer then double-click to edit and save.
We're looking into our options to both view Office documents in the browser and (likely separately) allow you to edit them live.
