Highly agree. I have just recently started training sessions and immediately found the lack of ability to manage this area to be troublesome. Simple features to manage this is something I expected would be part of the software.

We're definitely planning to implement a true Spec Management feature in Team - similar to drawings where you can upload a combined PDF and split it out into individual sections that you can then link to Drawings, Documents, RFIs, etc.
In the interim though I realize there's a lot of room for improvement in the existing feature that acts as more of a list - we're working on adding some management to the spec list similar to the way the list of Submittal Packages works - and I agree a copy or import would be a great help.

I have submitted (2) tickets on this. This is needed urgently as once an entry is needed, the spec section is there for anyone to pick. Need this cleaned up to ensure professional looking submissions with the correct spec sections is used be the end users.

This needs to be a thing. This should also transfer with every new job. From my understanding, and the trainer's understanding, I have to waste time with every job entering spec sections. This should be transferred over (at least have the option to) with every new job.

I agree - this carried over as an issue on creating an RFI on the mobile app, which does not allow the creation of ad hoc spec sections, so we couldn't fill it in because no one had used/created it yet. An import function to setup the spec sections would be ideal
