Currently an email is sent immediately to those in the submittal workflow (and probably RFI) when a comment is made. There can be many comments in one day. These need to be compiled into a single email per recipient like overdue/coming due reminders to avoid the feeling of "spamming." Prospect asked the question.

Yes - something that we had envisioned but just not yet prioritized. Users can always put email filtering rules in place as an interim solution but that isn't ideal.
